Our Story

Dip Prasad Pun CGC & Jhalak Pun are brothers who both had a vision to open a Bar in their hometown of Cardiff. Dip a war hero famous for single handedly fighting off Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan was awarded the CGC medal by Queen Elizabeth ii & has also won the Pride of Britain award for his bravery & time served in the British Army, he has also just achieved a Masters Degree in business management as class of 2025 with Cardiff University.
Jhalak who most recently is the owner of a very successful security company has previously worked in the Police Force for a number of years & is also a Martial Arts expert. Both brothers are very attentive family men, married with a Son & Daughter each.
Everest opened & Run by the Pun Brothers originally both from Nepal, is a labour of Love & has been in the planning process for over 2 years so you can really expect something special from them because every attention to detail has been paid. 
We have an extensive food menu meticulously planned to cater for everyone & 24 taps on our exceptionally large bar as well as stocking bottles you may not find anywhere in Wales such as Sherpa & Ghurka Beer which compliment our Nepalese & British theme perfectly.
